Moreover, it has access to some of the best walking trails and parks in Red Deer so if you love spending time outdoors, we’re sure you will love this neighborhood. This is also a very walkable area so if you don’t own a vehicle, you can easily walk around the shops and other essential areas.  

Another thing that we love about this beautiful location is that it is somewhat far from the hustle and bustle of the city, so you’re in for a prime quiet location.

Westlake

What’s interesting about this community is that it has no row towns or apartment-style buildings. All are single detached homes. It has not many rentals available so you can develop a strong sense of community with your neighbors.  

This stunning neighborhood is perfect for families with young kids or college students, as there are a couple of schools surrounding Westlake including Red Deer Polytechnic. In fact, data shows that many young families prefer this area. 

It is also near other amenities like GW Harris Recreational Center. You don’t have to travel downtown to dine or grab a few drinks because Troubled Monk and Heritage Ranch’s Westlake Grill is nearby.  

For outdoorsy people, this luxurious neighborhood is right by the river, therefore offering walking trails within moments.  

However, you have to take note that a part of this neighborhood is close to Highway II so if you’re particular about the noise, you might want to grab your Google Maps and check that your prospect home is away from the highway.
