Jayden is a mom and a realtor. Yes, she can do both!

Purpose drives humans. Without it, we would be lost, unable to move forward without a sense of why we're doing it. 

Jayden Dyrland found her purpose in real estate. In a competitive industry, she found her purpose in helping people in her community in Central Alberta during the biggest chapters of their lives. 

More than a career 

After joining Lapp Realty and gaining her license in December 2021, Jayden realized that real estate is more than just a career; it's an in-depth experience full of life lessons. 

To her, there's an energy that exists while working with people to fulfill their life needs. This drive even translated to her gaining the recognition of being a Superstar Agent last month. 

"Since becoming a licensed realtor in Central Alberta, my greatest achievement would have to be getting listings. Clients have trusted me to help them with one of their biggest assets in life. I feel like that involves a huge amount of trust," Jayden said, her eyes sparkling with passion. 

Lapp Realty provides regular mentorship to its team members.

The right team 

Having the right mindset was what helped her find purpose in her career. She attributes it to her mentors and colleagues at Lapp Realty, a real estate team in Central Alberta. 

"Since becoming part of the Lapp team, my mindset has changed tremendously," Jayden testified.  

"I have a huge drive for success and a strong desire to help others."    

"At Lapp, I have a purpose to serve my clients to the best of my ability, and that gives me so much joy. I get to see and feel the happiness and relief when my clients find the ‘one’," she added. 

Finding the right team is an essential part of your career growth. Jayden is thankful that she found a group that nurtures her and helps her grow. 

"The team environment at Lapp is beyond supportive, and I am truly grateful to be part of a team that wants to see one another do well and be successful," Jayden said. 

Working side by side with colleagues that drive you to be more productive and efficient has been a huge part of Jayden’s success in her career. 

"The tools and resources that have helped my business thrive would have to be my colleagues and the team environment that Kevin Lapp, Lapp Realty’s Team Leader, has created," she said. 

"Each colleague I work with has at some point given me advice, or tips to do better," Jayden added. 

Less is more  

Being a real estate agent, Jayden enjoys the opportunity to bond more with her family. 

Having fewer worries and stress from a draining 9–5 job gave Jayden more motivation to grow professionally, more confidence in her finances, and more time to spend time with the most important people in her life, her family. 

"My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family, whether it's just going for a walk, playing at the park, or just hanging out at my parents' place," she said. 

Her family is her biggest motivation to do better, hence having a career that enables her to have more quality time with them is so important. 

Helping more people   

As a realtor in Central Alberta, Jayden wants to help more people with one of their life’s biggest transactions. 

With the situation in the Central Alberta market, Jayden reaches out to sellers to make their move now with the help of the right realtor. 

"My advice for sellers today would be to sell their home because the market is HOT and properties are moving like crazy," Jayden explained with the data she knows as a realtor.   

"If they are on the fence about selling, have a realtor come in and do a home valuation so that they can make a better-informed choice moving forward rather than wondering what their options are, have a professional come in and help you," she said.
