Speaking of goals, we’re now entering a fresh new year, and to be a successful real estate agent, having a clear career path in mind is one of the best methods to take control of your success.  

We talked to some of the best agents in Lapp Realty and asked them what their goals are for 2023.

Goals for 2023 

According to Jayden Dyrland, she looks forward to helping more clients in the upcoming year. After all, real estate is all about helping people in one of their life’s biggest transactions.

“My goals for 2023 are to help at least 40 clients sell or purchase a home. It’s such an honour to be able to be a part of such a big chapter in a person's life. I almost get an adrenaline rush when I get to put that sold sign up or when I score my clients an awesome deal,” Jayden said.   

Leah Roberts has a similar goal and that is to multiply the transactions she had this year.

"My career goals for 2023 include tripling my goal from 2022. This means 30 (hopefully more) transactions. I am also taking a deep dive to learn valuable leadership skills in order to become a better leader and help my team achieve their goals,” Leah mentioned.   

With the internet becoming more and more essential in the real estate business, Roberts is also looking forward to establishing more of her online presence.   

“I also plan to work on an online marketing and content strategy to build our brand with video content being the main focus” she added.   

Another thing Leah is looking forward to is giving back to the local community along with the team.  

“In 2023, I look forward to seeing Lapp Realty more active in the local community, whether that be various fundraisers, blood drives, food banks, or shelters,” she said.  

Leah is also excited to further build a team with the highest level of knowledge and professionalism to streamline our client experience.   

“Seeing our team in the Top 10 in Alberta would be a fantastic end goal. I want to create a professional space that's inviting and resourceful that can propel our agents forward to be the best that they can be in their personal and professional lives,” she said.  

Similarly, Jayden is excited to see Lapp Realty crushing the Alberta real estate team rankings. 

“I would love to see Lapp as a whole double the number of deals that we accomplished in 2022. I am beyond excited to see both the personal growth of us all as well as our business growth,” said Jayden.  

Meanwhile, as a new agent, Devon Ptashnik is thankful for the help that his teammate has given him.

“The Lapp team looks to remain one of the top producers in Central Alberta next year! I look forward to setting the mark high in the first full year of my real estate career,” Devon said.  

“The team’s been the most supportive, driven, group of people and I’m excited to see how we can grow. I’ve been given the resources to confidently enter into any situation and be the best for my clients,” he added.
